Manado, N Sulawesi, June 13 (Antaranews Sulut) - Lebaran holidays in 2018 are long enough to provide benefits for business actors in the tourism sector of North Sulawesi Province.
"All tourist attractions, both natural and artificial, will be crowded by visitors during the 10-day Lebaran holidays," Chairman of Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) of North Sulawesi, Jhonny Lieke, stated here on Wednesday.
He further noted that most visitors were local people.
This is a good opportunity for traders and businessmen to make money during the long holiday, he added.
Besides, taxi drivers and souvenir sellers will also take advantage to get more revenue.
The entrepreneurs will pay taxes if their businesses run smoothly, and the proceeds from the tax will increase the welfare of the local community, such as building roads.
Lieke noted that for security reasons, the tourism police have been deployed to ensure security for visitors in Manado City.
Lebaran holiday in 2018 started from June 11 to 20, which is long enough to visit natural tourism and enjoy traditional cuisine in this city. *** 1 ***
