Manado, 19/8 (Antaranews Sulut) - As many as 14 countries ensure attendance and participate in international events, Manado Fiesta 2018, August 31 to September 9 2018.
"These 14 countries are Romania, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, Lithuania, South Africa, China, South Korea, the United States, Finland, Italy, Japan, Singapore," said the Head of Manado Tourism Office, Lenda Pelelalu, here on Sunday.
She said, these countries will participate in two international events from Manado Fiesta 2018, namely international paragliding championships, and international choirs.
In addition to the 14 countries, said Lenda, Indonesia as the host will participate in by sending many participants, to enliven the event to be held in Manado.
According to Lenda, the implementation of Manado Fiesta, is expected to bring in many tourists, both foreign and domestic, as well as being a place to promote tourism in Indonesia and North Sulawesi and Manado in particular.
Later on when the participants from foreign countries will come directly, they will also be ambassadors of their respective countries in Manado, and can tell about this area in their country.
"Those who come and enjoy the atmosphere of Manado that is comfortable and safe can convey to the people in their country, how good, friendly and beautiful Manado II is, so that they are directly promoted," he said.
Therefore, she invited all Manado residents to jointly maintain order and security and show hospitality to the participants who were guests in Manado, thus leaving a good impression on them.
This, she said, would be a pulling factor, or an amenability to participants to return as tourists to Manado and North Sulawesi in general,
