Manado, North Sulawesi, Feb 23 (Antara) - Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) of Citra Dumoga has set high target of 20 percent for its business growth in 2018.

"We are quite optimistic the performance of Bank Citra Dumoga would be good with significant growth this year," chief commissioner of the people`s credit bank Denny Senduk said here on Thursday.

Denny said North Sulawesi has a potential market open for exploitation .

"There are still many sectors yet untouched by banks. Bank Citra Dumoga would be glad to make its presence there," he said, adding Bank Citra Dumoga recorded good growth in the number of its clients in the agricultural and trade sectors.

He said this year the bank hopes to increase its financing capacity and operation.

The non performing ratio of the bank has been kept under control, he said.

BPR or people`s credit banks are generally small in capacity and their banking operation is restricted such as they may not operate as foreign exchange bank.
